How to Apply False Eyelashes (Infographic)

step by step guide

Step 1 Choose the suitable eyelash styles according to your eye shape

On the basis of eye shape, please ensure to select the right size false eyelashes.
Hooded eyes: Try a thin style and short length strip lashes, it is better to modify eye shape.
Rounded eyes: Normal cotton band eyelashes are suitable for your eyes, a variety of false eyelash styles is matched.
Deep-set eyes: When your eyes are set deeper into the head creating an illusion of a more prominent brow bone. Try lashes that are longer in length at the center of the lashes.

How to apply false eyelashes

Step 2 Pick up the false eyelashes from the tray with professional tweezers

Identify the left and right lashes as they’re not always marked, then use professional eyelash tweezers to peel them from the tray.

To remove always peel them from the outer edge, never from the inner corner. This is because if you bend one section of lashes on the outside it doesn’t t matter as it is more than likely you’ll be trimming them off to fit your eyes anyway.

Step 3 Make the eyelashes length suited

Generally, cotton bands’ length is from 25mm to 33mm, it is often longer than our actual wearing needs.
If you have to trim your lashes to fit, remember to do it from the outside edge and don’t cut through the lashes, always cut them at the vein. If you cut upwards you’ll chop half of other lashes off you wanted to keep.

Step 4 Apply the eyelash glue to the thin cotton band correctly

To ensure that the cotton band is dry. Dot a thin layer of glue(straight from the adhesive applicator) along the vein of the lash, from corner to corner. Wait a few seconds for it to go tacky before application
Please do not apply the adhesive directly to the eyelid.

Step 5 Apply the false eyelashes

Pinch the eyelash carefully with eyelash tweezers, place the lash band directly on the skin just above your own natural lashes. Gently pull down the false eyelash from either end to get as close to your natural eyelashes as you can. Remember to place them where your natural bulk of eyelashes begin. Look down and press the strip lash against your lash line in the center, the outer edge, and inner corner.

Step 6 Bonding the eyelashes and finish the look

Having a screw brush to start with lets you pinch and push your natural lashes and the false lashes together so they set well. Squeeze the strip lash down onto the natural lashes so you don’t end up with
a strip of skin between your lashes and the false lashes. Congratulation, you wear false strip eyelashes perfectly!
